Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend off! It's now week four of our summer camp program and this week we got the thrills and chills for roller coasters. Our roller coaster physics class demonstrates the mathematics of motion, speed, and gravity. These applications can be of good use in the real world, such as driving a car or flying an airplane.
The structure of this class begins with a video topic on roller coasters, then our students will give presentations on what they have learned. Here is one of our students talking about the force of gravity or G-force.
In addition, we've got our students building replicas of roller coasters. Is there anything else kids enjoy more than building things?
